VCA Tracer Application

The VCA Tracer application takes frame shape data from any OMA compliant tracer so that it can be attached to a remote-edge or precal order.

If you use an Essilor Phi tracer, the program cannot obtain the shape data directly from the tracer: instead, it gets the data from the file created by the Essilor shape program.

Installation

Download the VCA Tracer application by clicking the Download button. When the download has completed, double-click the icon to run the installation program.

Changes in version 1.24

This version fixes a bug in the handling of Nidek tracers running in Nidek native mode.

Changes in version 1.23

This version is able to obtain shape data from Nidek tracers running in native Nidek mode. If you have a Nidek tracer supplied by Seiko, the tracer will have been set to Nidek native mode and you will need this version of the VCA Tracer program.

Changes in version 1.22

This version supports shape changes, allowing you to make adjustments to (for example) nylon supra shapes.

This version also fixes a bug which prevented users with Essilor Phi tracers from uploading single-eye shapes (such as nylon supra shapes). Single-eye shapes now work correctly.
