Shamir Online — Requirements

Getting started with Shamir Online is easy. If you are an existing customer, all you need to do is request a username and password. If you intend to place remote-edged or precal orders (which you probably do) you will need a tracer, and you will want to download the tracer application.

Customer account number

You need to be an existing customer of Shamir UK Ltd. If you are not a customer and would like to open an account please download and complete a credit application form.

User name and password

Please click here to register for Shamir Online. We will set up your online details and e-mail you your username and password.

An OMA tracer

If you want to place remote-edged orders, a tracer is essential. However, if you don't have a tracer you can still place uncut precal orders using the approxi-shapes on the website.

The VCA Tracer application

The VCA Tracer application allows you to attach frame shape data to your orders. For Essilor Phi users, the program can also attach shape files created by the Essilor tracer program.
