Revised Prescription for Wrap-Around Frames

The angle of a wrap-around frame produces a deviation between the measured lens power and the actual lens power perceived by the patient. Consequently, the prescription for a wrap-around frame must be revised. Shamir will provide patient prescriptions and revised prescriptions with every lens order.

Dispensing Guide

To place your order for Shamir Smart Attitude, please supply the following information:

• Full prescription.
• Mono PDs and fitting heights
• Regular or Short corridor. The minimum fitting heights are 18mm and 15mm respectively.
• Face Form Angle (FFA).
• Frame trace.

We also recommend that glazing and fitting be performed in our lab with our specialist equipment.
